Our story
Fifty years ago, Morton Salt Heiress, Mary Tilden Morton founded, designed and constructed the Rancho Caymus Inn, a 26 bed Hacienda-style home nestled in the idyllic hamlet of Rutherford, Napa Valley. Today, Morton’s creation has been restored to reflect her unique style and California roots with exquisite 19th century wood beam ceilings and textured, wrought iron accents. Finished with decorative touches sourced from artisans around the Americas, our boutique hotel pays tribute to Morton’s passions and deep history, setting it apart from the rest of Napa Valley.
